Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser Service

It is a legal obligation to appoint a Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA)

Companies engaged in the loading, unloading or carriage of dangerous goods by road, rail or inland waterways may have to appoint a qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA).in order to comply with the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR), he cases in which this requirement applies are set out in Chapter 1.8 of ADR, which also explains the role of the DGSA. In the UK, the ADR requirements for appointing a DGSA are enforced under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
